Dear relations, friends and acquaintances.

The past year has been a turbulent year for our organization. The take-over has brought along many changes. Looking at the future we have also chosen for the change in name to Acetra Logistic Solutions B.V.. Also for us 2008 is a year full off challenges. We have already achieved ISO certification, are improving our warehouse security and are implementing a new warehouse management system including barcode scanning. We are also at the point of the final decision for part 1 of expanding our warehouse. The start for the expansion will take place this year and will add another 3600 m2 of storage capacity to our existing warehouse.

Within Acetra Logistic Solutions B.V. two people have found another challenge for this year. Chris van Mullem and  Ronald van der Valk will try to complete the New York City Marathon on November 2nd. As Acetra Logistic Solutions B.V. we want to show our support for the community. That is why we have chosen to combine this achievement to raising funds for the Sophia Children’s Hospital. For the past years we have already given an annual donation. Our goal for this year is to raise as much money as possible for scientific research. This is one of the projects of Sophia Children’s Hospital in 2008. This project is described as follows:

As children develop fast, get other illnesses, respond different to medication and treatments than adults, specific medical research is necessary. Attention and attendance have to be tuned in to the age of the child. Permanent research as to the cause of illnesses and treatments is done in the Sophia. As Sophia is an academic hospital, most recent scientific aspects can be used. The research is focused on developing treatment methods as advanced and good as possible. Scientific research is less financed by the government. The research is therefore more dependent on contributions from trade and industry as well as private persons.
